Olivetti d-Color P160W is a colour printer designed for work in the Windows OS. Its construction is based on the d-Color P160 colour printer, from which it borrows the whole printing technology and most of the functions. Printers intended for one operating system, however, have simpler communication equipment, which is reflected in their purchase price. The d-Color P160W makes use of Windows memory and fonts for printing via the GDI interface. The memory of the colour printer itself is therefore smaller, 32MB to 288MB and as the processor provides fewer operations, and it makes do with 200MHz cycle. The standard physical interface can be either the Ethernet 10/100 Base TX or local USB 2.0. The printer disposes of large capacity paper drawers and can be equipped with a duplex unit for double-sided printing. The d-Color P160W offers excellent laser-quality prints created using single-pass LED technology. An ideal solution for users working in the Windows system.
