 Olivetti d-Color P12 is an A4 color digital laser printer working on a single pass LED technology. This system enables the speed of 12 ppm in color and 20 ppm in b/w with high resolution of 600 x 1 200 dpi with keeping the purchase price very low. The printer has been designed for the users working in the environment of office applications requiring high performance color outputs. Standard 64 MB memory can be enhanced up to 320 MB and an additional internal hard disc can be used for storing fonts, forms, letterheads etc. Olivetti d-Color P12 is compatible with the wide range of operational systems and offers the emulations PCL 5c a PostScript 3 in standard. The printer can be connected via USB 2.0, IEEE 1284 interfaces or into the network by Ethernet 10/100 TX. The network connection is included and does not require any extra costs. The paper capacity of a cassette is 320 sheets, max. 930 sheets. Bypass works with media up to 203 g/m2 and handles banners up to 1 200 mm paper side. New software allows control printer activities by permitting only some users or workgroups to print using PIN codes and setting the limits for number of pages. Duplex printing that reduces paper costs is possible with an optional duplex unit.
